Sandra Colareta

Director, Risk Management

Sandra Colareta joined Elme Communities in April 2022 and serves as Director of Risk Management. In this capacity, she is responsible for risk analysis, mitigation strategies and building programs that enhance asset protection. Sandra has nearly 20 years of Risk Management experience in various industries, including real estate, hospitality, and marketing. Prior to joining Elme Communities, Sandra served as the Vice President of Contracts & Risk Management for Indigo Golf Partners, overseeing all legal and risk functions for over 160 properties across 30 states, including entity and contract management, insurance program evaluation and procurement, risk control and development of safety programs. She has a passion for team building and establishing a positive culture in the workplace.  Sandra has a BA from George Mason University, and a JD from American University.
